In 2018 Fit to Work were commissioned by the National Library of Scotland to write and record a piece of music about a 1962 mathematics exam paper. When we figure out how and why that happened, we’ll let you know.

NOW I CAN’T DO IT

Once I solved equations to get some peace (Factorise, differentiate)
Definite solutions brought release (Find the volume, prove the theorem)
Could pass a test when reality was rough (Get the values, find the function)
Eventually the numbers weren’t enough
